November 25, 2002 — Boston based TeleType Co. has released a free plug-in for its most recent software, which allows for the display of live weather tracking on TeleType GPS enabled maps. TeleType software with GPS receivers now offer a free download of Nexrad radar weather images for up to date weather conditions while flying, driving, or boating. The offer pertains to both Pocket computers and laptops.

"TeleType offers the unique ability to use the same program as a high-end car navigation system which includes maps with visual and voice instructions for door to door routing as well as a aircraft navigation aid, both with real-time weather tracking," suggests Ed Friedman, President, TeleType Company.
