• 11,000 world wide city center point locations - City points located throughout the world for TeleType GPS Pro, this is not a replacement for your country place maps that come with the program, but it is a free add-on featuring cities from around the world as reference points.

• Live US Weather Base Map - for TeleType GPS - Requires version 122002 - Press Release

• Sample Topographical Map - These are sample USGS files of the Grand Canyons in Arizona, U.S. which can be imported to TeleType GPS program.  You can download more free topographical maps from Microsoft Terra Server.

• Degree Converter - for use with TeleType GPS Geocoder (#3059)

• Airport Creator - Can't find an airport on your existing software? You can use this utility as a template to create airport names to use with your existing sofware. (Readme is in the Excel file.)

Software Utilities

• Registry Cleaning tool (for Pocket PC) (for Win32) - Only use for special cases if certain functions are not functioning properly on TeleType GPS Pro.
  
• TTY Utility - Tool that is used to verify a connection between the GPS receiver and the Pocket PC.
  
• WaypointGen - LogicWeave has developed a free application that converts Geocaching .gpx files (the cache description files provided by geocaching.com) into Teletype .way files. This program is not developed or supported by TeleType GPS; all questions or comments should be directed to LogicWeave.


• PPC Serial Number Generator - A utility that allows you to identify your ID number for the TeleType GPS program.

Patches

• Maps.idx Patch - This patch is for users who have TeleType Pro Release v062004 and are having trouble with thier Maps.idx file. This installer will ONLY work with Release v062004, it will not work with any earlier or later releases. This installer does support both the PC and the Pocket PC.

• SpdBeep.wav - Right-Click and click "Save Target As" to save this file. Replace the SpdBeep.wav file in the TeleType GPS program directory with this file to silence the double-beep when continuing down a road during navigation. Be advised that this will also silence the beeping when you choose to enable the "Change cursor to exclamation sign (!) and beep if I drive above ___ mph" option in the preferences.

TeleType Recreational Receiver (#1851) INF Files (Windows 2000/XP) - For use with the TeleType Recreational GPS Receiver

Mini- Auto USB GPS for Laptops INF FILES - For use with the USB mini-auto GPS in laptops. Complete installer files for hardware part number: #1250 (series). Download is in .zip format, extract files to folder and copy folder to floppy disk to complete installation.

Mini- Auto USB GPS for Toshiba Pocket PC INF (Driver) FILES - For use with Toshiba Pocket PCs using TeleType GPS mini Auto GPS for Toshiba Part number: #1290

Mini- Auto USB GPS for Hitachi G1000 CAB FILE - For use with Hitachi G1000 using TeleType GPS mini Auto GPS for Hitachi Part number: #1260. Needed for opening the serial port for the receiver to function properly.

TeleType WorldNavigator #1653/1651 CF v3.0 w/WAAS - INF Files (Windows 2000/XP) - For use with the TeleType Compact Flash GPS (Part number #1653/1651 and related bundles). If these drivers do not help in your configuration, you can still install the GPS card, follow these instructions to bypass .inf installation.

DLL FILES

Download.dll - For use with Passive Tracker (#1450).  Will allow you to use the Passive Tracker with the TeleType GPS software.  Simply unzip the file and extract into your "C:\Program Files\Gps" directory.  (For PC only.)
