Introduction TeleType v032003 have dramatic improvements in the speed of routing and ease of map transfer. As a result the file structure has changed significantly and the program requires strict adherence to this structure. Choose the platform for which you want information about the file structure: (Note: File structure differs based on whether you are using a deskop/laptop or a PDA): Directory Structure for Desktop/Laptop Computers Reminder: Automatic street map loading requires the appropriate "places.ttm" base map file to be manually loaded (i.e. visible) in the TeleType GPS application. These files are located in C:\Program Files\GPS\Map
- Main program files C:\Program Files\GPS\Maps - Places.ttm file for each country - Example: US_Places.ttm Aviation
Maps - Aviation maps for the world, organized by continent - Example: Aviation\USA\USA_NorthEastArpt.ttm C:\Program Files\GPS\Maps\US\RELIEF_MAPS - Relief maps for the entire United States C:\Program Files\GPS\Maps\US The following screenshot shows you the directory structure for US maps:
