TELETYPE GPS PHONE TRACKER
Vehicle Tracking using AMPS Cellular

Imagine being able to see a whole fleet of delivery trucks or just one very important car—your own while you're sitting in front of a computer in your office or home. The TeleType GPS Phone Tracker takes advantage of the Global Positioning System (GPS) technology and combines it with AMPS cellular communications and transmission of location into one piece of equipment to provide an economical and easy to use system to automatically track vehicles.

Worldwide coverage using a special cellular phone equipped with internal GPS receiver. The PhoneTracker can be used in areas where traditional tracking is unavailable such as rural and suburban areas. If you are based outside the U.S. this solution provides the best coverage at an affordable price. The Phone Tracker has a wide range of applications but is most suitable for personal security, precious cargo tracking, and public safety, where up to the minute real-time tracking is essential. Most importantly the PhoneTracker can work any place worldwide that offers AMPS analog cellular service, this allows you to track vehicles from any place in the world just by direct dialing the PhoneTracker. Digital maps, and base station software are included. There is no need for a web browser which makes this solution discreet, secure, and reliable.

Features
Concealable and Silent - The GPS Phone Tracker can be concealed and can be accessed by the central station in a silent mode so the driver is unaware of the fact that the vehicle is being tracked.

Panic button - driver can send an alert to the central station.

Track unlimited number of vehicles.

Phone to phone communication - in an emergency the driver can talk directly to anyone having another PhoneTracker including the central station.

Automatically see in real time, the position of all vehicles equipped with the GPS Phone Tracker. TeleType GPS street level maps (U.S. only) are included with the base station TeleType GPS software. International users may import their own maps or contract with TeleType Co. to create maps.

How the System Works
The PhoneTracker is a simple yet powerful vehicle tracking system composed of a combined cellular phone and GPS receiver along with the TeleType GPS central station software.

Place one PhoneTracker in each vehicle to be tracked. Install the TeleType GPS software and maps on a Windows based computer connected to a DTMF modem (a modem that can send and  decode  signals from the PhoneTracker) . TeleType will issue a vehicle tracking password key for each PhoneTracker you purchase. Enter each password key into the TeleType GPS software.

Use the TeleType GPS software to obtain location reports on a scheduled basis or request a location position on demand at any time. Typically it takes less than 20 seconds to retrieve location information and plot the position on a TeleType GPS map. You can import your own custom maps for use outside the U.S. or use the detailed street level U.S. maps that are included with the software.

The TeleType GPS software can generate reports from tracking logs, showing where a vehicle was, its speed, and direction of travel. To see a sample report, click here

PhoneTracker can be positioned next to the driver so that the driver can communicate to the central station and view navigation maps if desired.

Alternatively, the device can be concealed under the front dash board or under the lip of the back seat.
