Covert Tracking

Passive Tracker II - part number 1451 can be used to covertly track whereabouts of where a vehicle has been travelling. A new extended battery option is coming soon. Right now the unit stores up to 4000 points throughout the day. The battery lasts about 6-8 hours. Extended battery will make it last about 24 hours.

TeleType GPS FREE Topo Maps For Real Estate

Real estate agents greatly benefit by using TeleType GPS Free Topo Maps!

How to take USGS maps with parcel lines and view them on top of TeleType GPS Free Topo Maps:

Most counties have by now printed the USGS maps showing parcel lines.

  1. Purchase the quadrangle (which shows parcel lines) from the county.

  2. Scan onto your PC the parcel(s) you want, and save it as a .JPG.

  3. Through Microsoft TerraServer, search for the same area and download it as a .bmp.

  4. Open the .bmp file in Adobe Photoshop.

  5. Then open the .jpg scan.

  6. Drag the scan on top of the TerraServer image.

  7. Make the scan partly transparent.

  8. Resize it to make the topo lines match.

  9. Draw the lines to match the scan, and delete the scan.


After putting parcel lines ontop of TerraServer images, you can go into greater detail and use the trace function on a quadrunner to put in primitive existing roads, locate springs, and other landmarks. Then, you can drop those landmarks from the PDA onto your PC via the following steps:

  1. Drop these landmarks from your PDA onto your TeleType application on your PC.

  2. Use the copy function for a screen shot.

  3. Save the screenshot.

  4. Open the screenshot using Adobe Photoshop.

  5. Trace out all of the landmarks onto the property that you are selling.
