January 22, 2013 - Recognizing the specialized navigation needs of Truckers and RV’ers, TeleType pioneered the use of portable GPS for truck and RV navigation beginning in 2008. Now the company has released an RV centric navigation program called SmartRVroute. The app offers special settings for RV drivers allowing configuration of any class RV or trailer. July 20, 2012 - WorldNav version 12 offers the first touch screen Truck GPS navigation system to offer simultaneous split screen navigation. This feature allows the driver to optionally configure two navigation screens to see a detailed view on the large part of the screen and the route overview on the smaller part of the screen providing a higher level of awareness when driving. LOW POWER-HIGH SENSITIVITY COMPACT FLASH RECEIVER
July 13, 2003 - TeleType Co. now offers low power (LP) version of their compact flash receiver. While the predecessor GPS was rated at 160mA, the LP version draws about half the power at only 90mA resulting in much longer battery life for PDAs using the receiver.
